Our Story

Say It With Flower is a small family-run business based in Lyon, France. The project is a mother-daughter collaboration dedicated to the craft of handmade paper, wax seals and pressed flower book marks.

Saghi is responsible for the production of the papers. She has been practicing papermaking since 2016 after learning traditional techniques in Japan. Through years of experimentation, a unique formula was developed to produce paper made from 100% pure cotton fibers sourced in Europe. Each sheet is handmade and carefully crafted to achieve a beautiful natural texture and deckle edge. The papers are designed to be compatible with all types of printers as well as techniques such as calligraphy, embossing, stamping, and other forms of artistic printing.

Roya's work focuses on integrating natural elements into the paper. Flowers and petals are incorporated into the sheets, creating a delicate herbarium effect that can be adapted to different projects and designs.

The papers and envelopes are produced in a small workshop in Lyon, while part of the production also takes place in the Allier region of France. Every sheet is made by hand with careful attention to detail, combining traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic.

At Say It With Flower, paper is seen as more than a material. It is a medium that carries messages, memories, and emotions. The goal is to create papers that bring a special and meaningful touch to invitations, stationery, and creative projects.
